Services
Estimating
Our experienced team of estimators know how long it takes to detail, fabricate and erect miscellaneous metals given the design requirements and jobsite constraints specific to your job. From budgets to detailed take-offs we focus on building a lasting pre-construction partnership.
Detailing & BIM
Our team of detailers bridges the gap between design and construction. With an in-house team of 20+ detailers we ensure more control over quality and schedule. We utilize both AutoCad and Tekla Structures to produce accurate fabrication drawings, erection drawings and 3D models. The team is comprised of technical experts in AISC and AWS standards, NISD requirements, and is capable of interpreting complex survey data for incorporating existing field conditions.
Fabrication
The institutional knowledge retained in our shop personnel and fabrication processes drive our reputation for quality and craftsmanship. The fabrication team is flexible, responsive and the catalyst behind timely jobsite service. The shop sits on 6 acres, comprised of four covered fabrication bays, each specializing in different scopes of work. Washington Iron Works is a AISC and LA City certified fabricator and signatory to the District Council of Ironworkers of the State of California and vicinity.
Installation
With an emphasis on providing flexible, reliable service our field team of union Ironworkers are capable of performing a wide variety of work. Our experience with complicated installations, safe & innovative rigging, and working through logistical constraints will add value to any job. Washington Iron Works is signatory to the District Council of Ironworkers of the State of California and Vicinity.
